emart24 Love Lock Contest
TERMS & CONDITIONS

1. Eligibility

The “emart24 Love Lock Contest” (“The Contest”) is organised by emart24 Malaysia (“The Organiser”) and shall be held from 1st February 2024 at 12:00 pm to 29th February 2024 at 11:59 pm (“Contest Period”).
The Contest is open to citizens or permanent residents of Malaysia and above the age of eighteen (18) years with a valid National Registration Identification Card (NRIC) number (12-digit) at the time of participation (“The Contestants”).
Employees of the Organiser, its subsidiaries, divisions, affiliates, authorized distributors, agents (including the advertising, public relations, marketing and interactive agencies used by the Organiser or its affiliates) and their immediate families are not eligible to enter this Contest. Immediate family means any of the following: spouse, child, parent, grandparent, sibling, uncle, aunt, niece, nephew or first cousin.
Any participation in the Contest shall be governed by these terms and conditions (“Terms and Conditions”), which shall remain in full force and effect.

2. The Contest and Submission

Contestants are required to complete the following steps to participate in the Contest:
1. Follow @emart24.my on Instagram. Contestants must follow with a public Instagram account.
2. Use the “emart24 Love Lock” effect in Instagram Story or Reels and get creative.
3. Post on Instagram with the hashtag #saranghaemart24 and tag @emart24.my.
Only entries that complete the steps and criteria above within the Contest Period will be deemed eligible.
Contestants are allowed to submit multiple entries during the Contest Period, but each contestant stands a chance to win one (1) prize only.

3. Prizes

Each winner will be entitled to a Saranghaeyo Snack Box full of emart24’s exclusive brand products (I’m e, No Brand, Grow Balance and Minsaeng) worth RM100.
Each Winner is entitled to win only one (1) Prize during the Contest Period.
The Organiser reserves the right to substitute any of the Prizes with that of similar value at any time at their absolute discretion without prior notice. All Prizes are not transferable, exchangeable or redeemable for cash.
The Organiser makes no warranties or representations whatsoever with respect to the Prizes and shall not be responsible nor liable for any problems and/or damage there or arising therefrom.
The Organiser reserves the right to appoint a third party to conduct the verification of Winners and to fulfil the delivery of prizes. Winners are to agree that the Organiser may provide all necessary information of Winners to a third party to facilitate such service.
Upon selection, winners will be contacted via Instagram Direct Message and must provide their complete shipping address within 48 hours. The Organiser will choose a reputable courier service to deliver the prize.
In the event that a Winner chooses not to accept a Prize, they forfeit any and all claims to that Prize, which will be dealt with according to the absolute discretion of the Organiser.

4. Winners and Judging Criteria

The Organiser will select twenty-four (24) winners based on their creative use of the emart24 love lock filter, with a focus on originality and engagement with the contest theme. As the selection process is inherently subjective, the Organiser’s final decision will be based on their own interpretation of creativity within the set criteria.
The Organiser will not be held liable in the event the Winner cannot be contacted for whatever reason after at least two (2) attempts and/or days.
In the event that a Winner cannot be contacted, the Organiser reserves the right to select another Winner.
The Organiser’s decisions in relation to the Contest including but not limited to the selection of Winners and forfeiture of the Prizes are final and conclusive. No further correspondence, complaint or appeal shall be entertained.

5. Other Terms and Conditions

Contestants and Winners shall assume full liability and responsibility in case of any liability, mishap, injury, damage, claim or accidents (including death) resulting from their participation in the Contest, redemption and/or utilisation of the prizes and agree to release and hold the Organiser and its Prize partners free and harmless of any liability.
All transportation, accommodation, personal costs and/or any other costs, fees and/or related expenses that are incurred to participate in the Contest and to redeem the Prize are the sole responsibility of the Contestant(s) and/or Winner(s).
By participating in the Contest, Contestants hereby give their consent to and authorise the Organiser to disclose their particulars to third-party service providers and/or partners engaged by the Organiser for purposes of the Contest and/or any customer survey in understanding Contestants’ purchasing behaviour.
The Organiser’s decision on all matters relating to the Contest shall be final and binding and no further correspondence or attempt to dispute such decision would be entertained.
The Organiser reserves the absolute rights to change, amend, delete or add to the Contest Terms and Conditions without prior notice at any time.
By participating in this Contest, Contestants agree to be bound by the Terms and Conditions of the Contest and the decision of the Organiser. An individual who participates in the Contest may be required to submit personal or confidential information about himself or herself (including without limitation his or her name, address, telephone number, e-mail address, or any other such information) (“Personal Information”) to the Organiser. The Organiser will treat any Personal Information obtained from an individual who participates in the Contest in accordance with the Legislation on the Protection of Personal Data Policy.
